A lot can happen between now and the next Presidential election. Right now, no chance. In 4 years? Hard to say. One thing going to for Vance is that he's very level headed and resonates with a much wider portion of the electorate than Newsom ever will. Vance will have an overwhelming tail wind pushing him forward if the remaining Trump administration continues as its currently going. Clean up the mess and create jobs. No one will beat him then.
