@CalvinMacNeil @Anthony__Koch I think we should discourage bright Tory staffers from punditry in general. Our movement needs more technocrats in unglamorous areas like regulatory affairs, procurement, taxes, and trade. The Liberals are very good at this.

@Anthony__Koch I’m pretty old school about it. When you become a staffer, you give up your personal platform to support your principal’s vision. In exchange, you get a level of access that nobody else gets.
