@Sharkyl Doty is definitely claiming self defense, he attacked Carmignani in response to getting sprayed. His argument will have to be that he continued to believe he was in danger even after he gained the upper hand in the battle. It’s his only defense I think
@Sharkyl Even if the priors are him I don’t think they would come in to this trial. The homeless guy is claiming self defense- justified in using force because he reasonably believed he was in “imminent”danger. Prior instances are irrelevant to that
