@AlexBrandt7@brakeboosted But the whole point is that their speed is not just down to engine. Ferrari might get 2%, not sure about 4%. But the FIA have the data let’s see
@Krish_M10@Dan23934245@fiagirly The whole argument was because Ferrari was better in slow speed corners. Well Antonelli is faster there today, and Merc are a league on their own in medium and high speed. So it’s obviously not just engine
@baxamaty@BAF2254@leclercsletters If Merc isn’t bad here, where else this season are the supposed to be bad? Their strength is medium and high speed circuits. They were supposed to be weak in slow speed corners and Kimi is currently fastest in slow speed corners
@PitchPaddocks@F1GuyDan Last runs were on new tyres. Given Charles didn’t do his lap on his first run so didn’t get the best out of the tyre, but Kimi lost at least 2 tenth in final sector and was still nearly 4 tenth up. At best Ferrari match Merc I recon
@F1GuyDan It was rather obvious they will be very very close to Ferrari here, not sure why people thought Ferrari had the best chassis by a mile. Merc were always close to them and their speed in straight line was never just engine. They have probably the most efficient car as well
@XabiChels@chelseaktbffh83 He’s top top OOP and can actually play in pocket (I think). The only question with that line up is James, as we actually need someone who can overlap for Palmer when he comes inside.Without that, Palmer is redundant. Also we do need a runner in attack which we don’t. Balance issues
@objective_cfc Am looking at him solely from what he offers us OOP in that physically cooked midfield and it’s a lot. Whoever we get have to solve both on OOP issue as well as being creative and a scorer. He at least ticks 2 of those boxes properly
