SEPTEMBER PORTFOLIO UPDATE 🚀

ALL TIME HIGHS 📈

My ISA hit £90,000 for the first time.

My total port hit £133,000 for the first time.

Total change this month = +£14,000 🤯

Absolutely WILD month!! Biggest month of capital appreciation I can remember - stocks at least, maybe rivalled by a crypto month years back, but this tops it for the market. Total return photos in comments of this tweet.

Total portfolio and ISA both hit new all-time highs this month. The ISA move was the standout: up £10,000 with zero contributions from me (maxed my £20,000). As I've said before, my portfolio is very concentrated so huge swings are part of it. Ride the red weeks and get rewarded on weeks like these.

Genuinely pleased with where things stand. Starting to wonder if the ISA can push toward £100k before year end. If we have a good Q4 then it should happen.

Thesis hasn't changed: every industry is going to need chips, and chips need memory. Rather than guess which industry wins, I'd rather own the picks-and-shovels — the chip and memory companies themselves. Memory shortages appear to be present and will continue into 2028 and probably longer. Monitoring the situation.

My only ETF, SMGB, has taken off after a long stretch of consolidation - good to see that patience pay off. I'll keep building out my current positions: SMGB, SK Hynix, Samsung, Sandisk and Nebius. Still holding Sivers - I think this will do well in 2027. I won't add more to it though.

I have managed to deposit around £300 this month and will continue to deposit funds when I can. Hungry for that £200,000 port.

This portfolio I feel has a genuine 2-3x over the next 4/5 years but also has a genuine 40% draw down potential. I’m ok with this. I’ve been through it before.

I saw a good tweet the other day which sums up my port:
“Put all your eggs in one basket and watch the basket very carefully” - Stanley Druckenmiller

October plan - Honestly not a whole lot different. I don’t plan to add or remove anything, I am really pleased with where things are at. It’s been a choppy year from me but I now feel in a good place with my holdings.

I also made a new pie and out £100 in. The pie is an income pie and is a test. It holds various things like JEQP and STRC. I’m not going to add anything more to it - the aim is to see how it holds up from a NAV perspective.

Any questions, let me know an always but it’s amazing to see so many people winning. Let’s inspire more people!

They’ve also scrapped the plan to tax interest on cash earnt within a stocks ISA.

The UK government actually looking out for us who’d have thought?

UK Budget was today:

• Planned £12,000 cash ISA cap from April 2027 scrapped.
• £20,000 annual allowance stays, shared across your ISAs. Not £20k per account, or a limit on your portfolio's value.
• A "Starter ISA" incentive for first-time Stocks & Shares ISA investors is planned. Details still to come.

No forced switch from cash to shares. Keep emergency money accessible; invest for longer-term goals, knowing investments can fall.

The stocks and shares ISA survives!

The best time to plant a tree was 50 years ago. The second best time is today.

If these earnings over the next few days keep coming in strong like SKHY then incredibly October won’t actually be that bad of a month which is insane to say considering I was down 20% from septembers peak. Crazy markets

BREAKING: Fed holds rates at 3.75%-4.00%.

Vote: 10-2, with Cook and Hammack pushing for a 0.25-point HIKE.

Inflation remains elevated. A pause, not a pivot.
