Our Engineering Chocolate course has wrapped up week 2, and what a start it has been. In just 8 class days, students engaged with 6 guest speakers, participated in 2 field trips, explored and tasted raw chocolate ingredients, learned about chocolate’s origins,
explored and tasted raw chocolate ingredients, learned about chocolate’s origins, sampled a traditional Mayan chocolate drink, tempered chocolate, and poured two chocolate bars. We are grateful for the incredible support so far and excited for what comes next.
Last semester, my seniors designed several assistive devices for a child in CA recovering from a hemispherectomy. This week, we’re sending them his way—plus a few surprises! If they don’t work, we’ll redesign and try again. That’s the beauty of 3D printing! #EdTech#STEM

If you go to Memphis you have to stop in at Qahwa. Their coffee is absolutely amazing, the staff is extremely knowledgeable about the area and very nice. My first time having a Turkish coffee and it's amazing. @iteea#iteea2024
