@komocode@wholemars Ok but that’s a terrible comparison, the X and S never sold in any meaningful volume they were always niche vehicles. Model 3 and Y way out sell the X/S. It’s not even close.
Just need to point this out. Premium Model Y powered rear seats can unfold from the folded flat position while you’re sleeping on a mattress in Camp Mode…
Child seat locks disable the side buttons and rear screen, they do not disable the trunk fold switch. A blanket, dog, or knee can still hit that button on accident. I worry that this can cause serious injury.
Owner’s manual already warns the seat can swing with force and cause injury. Anti-pinch is for folding down, not unfolding up into someone lying on the seatbacks.
Please add a Camp Mode lock that fully disables second-row seat motors (side, rear screen, and trunk). It seems like a simple Software fix, and I think it can save someone from serious injury or worse. Just wanted to point this out. Love my Model Y for camping.
@elonmusk@Tesla@SawyerMerritt@Teslarati
@niccruzpatane@SpaceX This will mark the beginning of a new era of vehicles, Tesla is about to revolutionize transport AGAIN. This is just the first of what’s to come and nobody is prepared for it!
@teslaflexx I’ve converted Tesla haters just by showing them FSD. They assume all this stuff until they actually see it, no other vehicle can do what a Tesla can.
@elonmusk I often laugh at the idea that I bought a model Y a year ago and have never driven it any meaningful distance. It has done nearly ALL of my driving since I bought it in September 2025. It really is magic.
@JetzerCtsac@HOT97 King Von was a grown man who killed people and made terrible choices… It wasn’t up to Durk or anyone else to make those choices for him. As grown men you need to take personal accountability.
Sucks that this happened on your first ride but I’ve seen plenty of examples of it working great, you are the first one I’ve seen with a negative experience. This is brand new tech, and I’m sure it will be worked out. The first generations of most things always have its flaws but with time they get better.
@ggabrielmmm Very smooth! You can definitely feel the enhanced reaction time! I posted a video on my YouTube channel if you want to take a look. https://t.co/uD25pnKlGc
@jawwwn_@amitisinvesting Karp is right, if we stop our enemies win. People want to live in a world that doesn’t actually exist. We either crush or be crushed.
It’s a tough balance, the public doesn’t like data center expansion but the reality is that if we stop and China overtakes us in compute they will win the AI race. In my personal opinion I’d rather the United States win that race. Whoever leads in AI is the new world superpower. So while I disagree with the President on a lot, he’s right in this post.
