We have mistaken Christian vocabulary for Christian transformation. A man quotes Scripture… And we assume he knows GOD.

He speaks in “Christianese”…
And we conclude he is spiritual. He shares sermons…
Posts Bible verses… Says “Praise the LORD” after every sentence… And we never stop to ask the harder question: Who has discipled his mind?

Do not be too quick to measure a man’s spirituality by what he says when the subject is GOD. Almost everyone knows how to sound holy in Church.

The real examination begins when the subject is no longer spiritual. Listen to him discuss politics. Listen to him speak about money. Listen to him respond to injustice. Listen to him describe success. Listen to him talk about women. Listen to him address suffering. Listen to him speak when someone offends him. Listen to him discuss power, influence, ambition, and enemies.

That is where the true disciple is separated from the religious man. Because what governs a man is not discovered by how he quotes Scripture…

It is discovered by how he interprets life. The Pharisees quoted Moses… Yet crucified CHRIST.

Satan quoted Scripture… Yet remained the devil.
Knowing Bible verses has never been the evidence of possessing the Mind of CHRIST.

Brethren…
The Gospel did not come merely to change our language. It came to overthrow an entire way of thinking.

Until CHRIST becomes LORD over a man’s reasoning…
HE is not yet LORD over his life. Because the Lordship of CHRIST is not first revealed in what leaves your mouth during worship…

It is revealed in the Mind by which you interpret reality.
Many believers have biblical information… But worldly assumptions.

Biblical expressions… But carnal conclusions. Biblical terminology… But secular philosophies.

They speak like Zion… But they think like Babylon.
We have taught men how to sound like Christians…Without teaching them how to think like CHRIST.

So they enter the sanctuary speaking the language of Heaven… Then leave the building making decisions with the wisdom of the age.

The HOLY SPIRIT does not merely teach men what to say. HE teaches them how to see.

When CHRIST truly governs a heart… His Word becomes more than memory. It becomes instinct.
More than quotation. It becomes perception.

It becomes the very architecture of the man’s mind.
You no longer need to ask him for a Bible verse. His conclusions will already smell like Scripture.

His values will expose the Kingdom he belongs to.
His worldview will betray the Throne that governs him.

For the greatest evidence that JESUS is LORD over a man… Is not that he can speak about the Bible…

It is that he cannot think outside it.

Following JESUS is costly because HE will refuse to coexist with the idols in Your Heart.

There are seasons where GOD preserves a man by reducing what he has access to.

Certain doors will close. Certain associations will fade. Certain spaces will suddenly become inaccessible.

And if discernment is absent, a man will call warfare what is actually preservation.

Because sometimes, the mercy of GOD is revealed through limitation.

So on that day, do not struggle to reopen what GOD has intentionally removed.

Please Check! Have You Lost Your First Love?

Many men are diligent in examining systems, structures, administrations, sermon archives, ministry growth, finances, schedules, and the outward mechanics of the work.

They audit everything around them.

But few still possess the fear of GOD deeply enough to audit the state of their own hearts before HIM.

For it is possible to maintain a functioning ministry while slowly losing the spirit of a messenger.

It is possible to still preach accurately, yet no longer carry the burden of the altar. It is possible to still sound deep, yet inwardly become shallow.

Have you checked lately if ease has replaced consecration? If familiarity has replaced trembling before HIM? If the platform HE gave you has become more precious than HIS Presence? If influence now moves you more than intimacy with JESUS?

Have you checked if prayer is becoming mechanical? If the Word no longer sits upon you and convicts you? If HIS correction no longer pierces you? If tears have disappeared from your altar?

Have you checked if the secret place is drying up while the public ministry still appears fruitful?

For there is a dangerous thing that can happen to a messenger: a man can continue speaking for GOD after he has stopped walking closely with GOD.

Beloved, not every decline is visible. Some men do not fall suddenly. They drift gradually.

A little less broken. A little less yielded. A little more worldly. A little more self-aware. A little more ambitious. A little less crucified.

Until eventually, the garment of ministry remains, but the fragrance of JESUS upon the life begins to fade.

And this is why every messenger must constantly return to the secret place for inspection.

Not just asking, “Is the ministry growing?”

But rather: “Is CHRIST still being formed within me?” “Am I still walking in the fear of GOD?” “Am I still becoming more like JESUS, or merely becoming more skilled at ministry?”

For GOD is not only watching what we build. HE is also watching what we are becoming while building it.

Ministry, as ordained by GOD, does not admit fractions. It is not measured in portions, nor negotiated in percentages.
It is the total yielding of a man unto the counsel, the will, and the demand of GOD.

For there is a cry in the Spirit against the reductions we have made, a cry against the portions we have offered and called “all.”

We have given much, yet withheld the rest. We have stretched, yet stopped where it began to cost us.
The altar still demands everything. The altar does not receive in parts; it consumes all. And anything that escapes the altar will eventually contend with what was offered upon it.

This is not a light matter.

Because what is withheld becomes the ground upon which resistance to GOD is preserved within a man.

And so we preach, yet something in us is untouched.
We serve, yet something in us is unbroken.
We lead, yet something in us is unyielded.

And that hidden fragment weakens the whole.
GOD does not anoint in fragments; HE anoints the man whole.

We need to stop comforting ourselves with what we have given and begin confronting what we have withheld. For ministry is one hundred percent, and this is where the weight lies. Because to say “one hundred percent” is to say there is no reserve, no protected preference, no untouched corner.

It is to come to the place where GOD does not contend with you anymore, because there is nothing left in you resisting Him.

But who is willing for this?

Who is willing to be stretched beyond what is reasonable, beyond what is convenient, beyond what is explainable to men?

The dealings of GOD are not gentle to the flesh. Because of the requirement, many have drawn back, not in rebellion, but in preservation,

not knowing that preservation is the enemy of consecration.

So the call intensifies: stretch,
not in activity, but in yielding.

Stretch until obedience is no longer selective.
Stretch until giving is no longer measured.
Stretch until your life is no longer your own.

For until a man comes into total yieldedness, he will continue to touch the work of GOD without fully carrying it.

And this is the burden we cannot escape: that a generation would rise who give GOD everything.

Not most.
Not much.
Everything.

We do not need more ministers; we need surrendered men, men who will not stop at eighty percent, who will not rest in progress, men who will stretch until nothing remains.

For in that place, GOD will finally find expression without any hindrance. And territories, long resisted, will begin to yield.

In this spirit, I call my brothers, those who have decided that they will give JESUS rest by ceasing from resistance and choosing to stretch.

Let us stretch together.

There is a heaviness in my heart this Afternoon: we are not accountable enough for what we are producing in the House of GOD.

We are afraid of empty seats.

This generation attends Church more than ever, but many are being formed more by the experience than by the Word.

They walk into rooms filled with lights, sound design, creative elements, and carefully constructed moments. They laugh. They are energized. They leave feeling something.

But many leave without ever being confronted by GOD.

Because we have built gatherings that look like Church, but often function like production centers. And much of that is on us.

I think of Paul the Apostle warning that people would gather teachers who tell them what their ears want to hear. We have often quoted that warning as though it belonged to another time. But in many places, it describes our moment.

We have shortened sermons to protect attention spans. We have softened Truth so the room remains comfortable. We have structured services to keep people engaged rather than to bring people before GOD.

We have tried to keep people interested rather than call them to Repentance. We have prioritized creativity over Consecration. We have measured success by the size of the crowd rather than the depth of transformation.

And now we are shepherding a generation that loves the atmosphere of Church, but struggles with the cost of Discipleship. Many have never been taught what it means to deny themselves and follow CHRIST.

And we must admit something difficult: they did not design this culture. We built it.

If we fill the Church with entertainment, they will inherit a faith built on stimulation. If we make Church about keeping people engaged, they will struggle when following CHRIST becomes costly.

Ministers, we cannot blame culture for what we have slowly permitted inside the Sanctuary. The Gospel does not need lights to be powerful.

It needs faithful voices to proclaim it.

The LORD will not only ask this generation how they responded to the Gospel. He will ask us what kind of Gospel we presented to them.

And that question will not be light.

If you are a leader, take time to reflect on these things. The call is not to produce better experiences. The Call is to produce better men.

A generation that sees the visibility of ministry without seeing the burden of it will eventually pursue the work of GOD for reasons that GOD Himself never intended.
