I had just graduated college when I was introduced to Niko @bonatsos .

I was surprised at how quickly he got on a call with an international student, given how high-profile an investor he was. He politely told me I wasn’t ready to raise, but the way he said it made it seem like I might be one day.

Every few months, I’d send him updates. He would always reply quickly, always saying no, but in the most encouraging way possible. A few years later, the time finally came, and @generalcatalyst led @Jadu_AR's seed round.

We still have much to prove, but it’s been a real honor having Niko as a supporter. He has a rare ability to distill complex situations into simple fundamentals, and an intuition that can see beyond surface-level signals.

Extremely eager for what he's up to next.

Unfortunately AR headsets with Snapdragon AR1 chips simply don't have enough compute to do more than record, playback and notifications. Feeding that into an LLM does not fix the AR.

Sticking to my clearly unpopular opinion: the first actually ubiquitous spatial computing platform is a phone.
