David, I agree with you ; but please consider the alternatives ; restrictor plate racing is *intended* to cut down on the awfulness of crashes because without those plates the NASCARS could easily go over 200 mph at the giant racetracks Daytona & Talladega. got better ideas ?

NASCAR needs a culture change.

This was a wake up call for the sport, similar to that fateful day in 2001.

NASCAR can no longer promote racing that encourages wrecks.
