Potential GST Scenario
If petrol and diesel were to be brought under GST:
1. Unified Tax Rate:
There would be a single tax rate across the country, likely at the highest GST slab of 28%7.
2. Price Reduction:
Even at the highest GST rate of 28%, prices would decrease substantially. For example:
- Petrol price in Delhi could drop from around Rs. 101.19 to Rs. 56.44 per litre.
- Diesel price could fall from Rs. 88.62 to Rs. 55.41 per litre.
3. Elimination of Cascading Effect:
The current system leads to a "tax on tax" effect, which would be eliminated under GST, further reducing prices
If delivery apps shut down - People will either cook or go out to eat like they have been doing for centuries
What delivery guys gonna do? Clean Kunal Kamra Toilet?
Most of our delivery partners did not want to go on a strike yesterday. The 0.1% miscreants I mentioned in the tweet below were illegally snatching parcels from those who wanted to work, beating them up, and threatening to damage their bikes. Which is why local law authorities had to intervene on their own.
So who were these riders who were creating this trouble? Largely the ones who were terminated by the system for repeated abuse and fraud on the platform. They impersonate, steal food, and also abscond with the cash they collect from the customers, amongst other things.
These individuals want to arm twist us to let them back on to the platforms, and exploit the system for their own sake. And are perhaps being supported and instigated by politically motivated individuals who just want to stir up chaos for media mileage.
You are a politician with the power to make policy.
Why don’t you bring a bill in Punjab & set an example?
Don’t sabotage the livelihoods of lakhs of gig workers to build your own political career !

Now this is new. @Barmer_Police arrested students because they allegedly addressed the District Collector IAS Tina Dabi as Reel Star. Why can not we address a Reelbaaz Officer as Reel Star?
Dr. Syama Prasad Mookerjee ensured that Hindu-majority West Bengal remained with India, becoming a homeland where Hindu Bengalis could live freely, preserve their culture, and practice their faith without fear.
For decades, Hindu Bengalis stranded on the other side of the border fled religious persecution and sought refuge in India. The Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA), introduced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, was meant to offer these refugees a life of dignity and legal certainty—without taking away any rights from existing citizens.
Yet Mamata Banerjee fiercely opposed the CAA. She mobilised clerics and radical elements to protest a humanitarian law meant to grant citizenship to persecuted Hindus, Sikhs, Christians, Buddhists, and Jains from Islamic neighbourhoods. Under her watch, organised mobs rampaged through streets, blocked highways, damaged public property, and targeted Hindus.
Her government intimidated vulnerable communities like the Mathuas, Namasudras, and Rajbanshis, discouraging them from applying under the CAA by spreading fear that identifying as refugees would invite harassment, loss of documents, and denial of state benefits.
By demonising the CAA, Mamata Banerjee left Bengali Hindus exposed and insecure. Had she not pursued divisive politics rooted in appeasement, who knows—perhaps Dipu Chandra Das of Bangladesh would be alive today, living with dignity in West Bengal, worshipping Maa Kali, and providing for his family.
History will remember these choices.
Do not forget Mamata Banerjee’s actions.
Hold her accountable in 2026.
She must be VOTED OUT.
