6:00 AM - Unhealthy air has now blanketed Trinidad and Tobago on Thursday morning as a result of a significant #SaharanDust surge.

Unhealthy air quality levels are being reported in Mayaro, San Fernando, Point Lisas, and Beetham, Port of Spain.

Visibility across Trinidad has dipped to 3 kilometers, while across Tobago, visibility is near 6 kilometers.

Everyone needs to take all necessary precautions across T&T today.
