It was the pressing down of any disagreement or question, it was the constant threat of violence, it was the destruction of the careers and lives of countless people (and the consequent evisceration of the entertainment industry), it was the the removal of choice for vaccines, it was the inflamation of racism, it was the neutering of law enforcement, it was the numbing of meritocracy, it was the dismantling of the spirit of quite a few cities (and the accompanying declining property values), it was the collapse of a political party, it was the crushing of common sense (particularly in the young), it was the ruin of university value, it was the end of trust in the media, it was the fostering of the most selfish era in modern society.
It was fascism, intolerance, and decidedly un-American. It was shameful and despicable.
It was not “bad tweets.”
Socialism may have been defeated last night in Wisconsin but the results were WAY too close for comfort. How far has the United States of America fallen when an open and avowed socialist candidate almost becomes Governor?
Socialism has NO PLACE in America, and even Wisconsin Democrats know it.
Democratic socialism is not some cutesy nanny state. It’s a violent Maoist revolution. Go look up what that means. In China it even involved cannibalism.
Islam is here to conquer you,
not to coexist with you.
Do not allow it to build.
Do not allow it to take more power.
Do not allow it to gain more influence.
Oppose it lawfully and justly.
Believe those who have suffered under it.
Muslims are not a race.
Criticising Islam is not racist.
Islam remains an unreformed religion and a political project.
"Islamophobia" is a fabricated term designed to shield Islam from scrutiny.
In a FREE society, NO ideology is beyond debate or criticism.
The abortion issue is really frustrating for me because it's a wedge used to manipulate both sides of the political aisle. All politicians see it as a politically useful topic to drum up support, divide, demoralize, & turn people into single-issue voters. I swear it has been almost a psy-op on women voters for decades. What is one of the most important issues for women when it comes to voting? "Reproductive healthcare." But that is just a euphemism for abortion. Women, especially Leftist women, have been convinced that there is nothing more important for them then the hypothetical scenario where they would need to have an abortion. Their very freedom depends on access to abortion. It's demented.
But, neither side can talk about it honestly. No one can speak of it in terms of reality.
The MA law says "The bill passed today removes existing requirements that limit abortions at 24 weeks of pregnancy or later to specific medical circumstances, allowing licensed physicians to rely on their best medical judgment when caring for patients. Under current law, those circumstances must adhere to only four specific categories, which do not account for the full spectrum of medical conditions encountered by women and their doctors: protecting the patient's life or physical or mental health, or cases involving a lethal fetal anomaly or a grave fetal diagnosis."
What would the reasons encompassed in "the full spectrum of medical conditions encountered by women and their doctors" be? People talk about the "life and health of the mother." If it's to save the life of the mother at the point of near-full term, then labor is induced. There is no reason to kill a near full term baby before birth, rather than just deliver it, for the mother's health. Labor induction is the standard. So, what are we talking about? The CDC reports that more than 90% of abortions in the US occur in the first trimester (less than 12 weeks, like ~40% are at less than 6 weeks) & less than 1% occur after 21 weeks. It simply isn't reality that all these women are carrying pregnancies into their, like, 8th month & then deciding they don't want to be a mother. That just isn't happening.
For fetal anomaly or grave fetal diagnosis; there are conditions like anencephaly or the like, where the baby will not survive outside of the womb. The baby is expected to die. So...again, we are not speaking in terms of reality here. What the Democrats are supporting is the euthanasia of infants. They want, for stated reasons of compassion & preventing suffering, to end the life of the baby inside the womb, then deliver. This is its own moral conundrum. Babies with horrible conditions like this cannot breathe on their own, & usually die shortly after birth. But, there is no country on earth that permits the euthanasia of born infants or children. A 6-month old baby that suffers some catastrophic injury expected to be fatal is not brought to a hospital & the parents given the option of euthanasia to end suffering. Palliative care exists (& often this is what is done with near-full term babies). If people believe it is not morally acceptable to euthanize a born infant or child, why is it morally acceptable to euthanize a pre-born infant? What is the difference, in the minds of people who believe abortion should be available for near-term or full-term babies with fatal conditions? It comes down to denying reality, & almost believing some sort of magical, alchemical changes happen between near or full term pregnancy & birth that suddenly bestows "personhood" on something that previously didn't possess it. Somehow, in those moments between when the infant was invisible inside the womb, to it then becoming visible outside of it, it becomes a person in the minds of people who believe abortion should have no restrictions.
And yet, the law doesn't even treat unborn babies this way when it comes to homicide. Remember Lacy Peterson? There is a federal law, the Unborn Victims of Violence Act of 2004, plus nearly every state has their own fetal homicide laws that allow them to charge someone who causes the death of an unborn baby.
The whole issue is so morally confused, & no one in politics is speaking honestly about it. I also don't know how many Americans understand that nearly every Western peer nation has more restrictive abortion laws than the US. Women have been manipulated over this issue for decades, it has been such a goldmine for the Democrats, but the Republicans exploit it, too. People on both sides of the political party aisle just become hysterical about it.
What is undeniable is that the US is undergoing a cultural revolution that is authoritarian & totalizing in nature. Moral inversion is the mechanism. When people are celebrating abortion, having multiple abortions, believe there should be no restrictions on abortion, believe motherhood is something to be avoided, & birth rates are collapsing, something has gone terribly wrong.
Whatever your stance on abortion is, all sides should agree the goal should be eliminating the circumstances that make women feel like they need to have an abortion. Morality aside, it is a medical procedure that carries risk. We shouldn't want people to expose themselves to unnecessary risks. Why not do everything possible to avoid even being in that situation? The Left switched from "safe, legal, & rare" to abortion on demand. This happened in like, a decade. The discourse shifted. Radicalization, of course. The mechanism & process is mapable.
The whole abortion issue is a politically useful mechanism for political & cognitive warfare, & once again, we can see how it played out previously in history, in the USSR.
This is going on inside American Mosques.
"Er&dicate Christianity!"
When is the government going to address these issues? Americans have been asking for action for far too long.
Owen Jones’s appearance on @piersmorgan is a masterclass in ideological dishonesty.
He defends Sharia law while insisting the real problem for “queer Muslims” isn’t the doctrine itself. It’s those hateful Brits who “weaponise their plight” by pointing out the obvious conflict.
His exact words:
“I speak to queer Muslims, which I think is quite important to do because they’re erased from the conversation. They feel deeply frustrated that in a country where anti-Muslim prejudice and bigotry has got worse and worse, is that their plight is weaponised, not by people who want to advance LGBTQ rights but people who want to demonise Muslims as a whole.”
Absolute weapon-grade nonsense.
You cannot seriously claim to defend “queer Muslims” while downplaying or whitewashing Sharia. Under classical Sharia rulings (the ones still applied in multiple Muslim-majority countries and taught in many orthodox circles), same-sex acts are a major sin. Depending on the school of jurisprudence and the evidence required, the prescribed punishments include flogging, imprisonment, or death. That is not some fringe invention. It’s the traditional legal position.
“Queer Muslims” who live under or are influenced by those interpretations face real pressure, family rejection, and in extreme cases violence. Pretending the main threat to them is “anti-Muslim bigotry” from people pointing out this contradiction is self-serving deflection of the highest order.
Jones is doing the classic progressive two-step: shield the ideology, then smear anyone who notices the conflict as bigots.
Clown. 🤡
Islam is totalitarian, Fascistic, by definition.
There is no separation of mosque and start.
There is no separation of public and private.
There is no live and let live.
There's no "political Islam." There's only Islam.
The idea of a separate political version implies a non-political one exists, which is false.
Islam does not separate mosque and state.
Legal infant murder... not for convenience or justice. Just to submit to pure evil.
These are the "maybe the Islamists are right about us" moments for me.
The Democrat Party has been hijacked by radical leftists.
-Candidate in New Jersey has ties to 9/11.
-Candidate in San Francisco lowered penalties for pedophiles
-And candidate in New York City is using anti-white rhetoric
These radicals are running on racism and they hate this country. Do you want imperfect or do you want crazy??
There’s a reason why there are no “pro fascism” courses in US universities. The same should be true of socialism and communism.
All three are authoritarian, anti freedom and fundamentally anti American.
To call yourself a socialist is to declare open hostility to the US.
@SethDillon A woman given power signed a paper to kill babies.
They are laughing and happy.
Covens of Witches in Massachusetts dress differently now than in 1692.
This is Pure Evil.
May God bless and help the unborn children.
I can't believe this is real.
Silly made up word “Islamophobia”
Show some respect to my mother tongue.
We are absolutely and justifiably afraid of being attacked by caveman followers of the Islamic death cult.
It’s called pattern recognition.
