The World Health Assembly has adopted the first-ever resolution on steatotic liver disease (SLD), a condition affecting 1.7 billion people worldwide and closely linked to obesity, type 2 diabetes and cardiovascular disease.

The challenge is not a lack of tools, but a lack of integration: earlier detection and intervention should happen in primary care, before patients reach advanced stages of the disease.

🆕 Estem molt contents de començar una nova col·laboració amb #OneFifty, un projecte independent pensat per a la gent jove, que ofereix informació clara, directa i basada en l’evidència sobre salut mental, nutrició, sexualitat i consum de drogues.
El primer article, elaborat per OneFifty amb el suport de l’Aula de Salut i la revisió del Dr. Martínez, especialista del Servei de Ginecologia de l’#hbellvitge, parla sobre el virus del papil·loma humà (#VPH) i desmunta un mite molt estès: que només afecta les dones.
Però això és un mite. Entendre com es transmet aquest virus, a qui pot afectar i quines mesures de prevenció existeixen és clau per protegir-te… i protegir els altres.
