And I have no problem with representation being more focused in the story, but sometimes it comes out in a way that feels more like a get-out-of-jail free card than an honest rep. Casual representation that doesn't do the bury the gays stereotype have my heart.
This is one of my biggest pet peeves in diverse writing. Jax did not have to be trans and it feels a bit sudden. Jax should not have to abstract and have an arc that overshadows the other characters and plot. She could've just been normal and have being trans as a casual trait.
@avispartan1@adhee1673 Why not? You have to explain exactly what the contradiction is. Marxists disagree with other marxists, humanists disagree with other humanists, and there is MULTIPLE versions of afro-pessimism. I am not gonna sit here and be an orthodox everything.
