Too often, we wait until Gr. 3 or 4 to identify at-risk readers in FRENCH IMMERSION. This year in Ontario, early screening in K-2 & evidence-based Tier 1 instruction will reduce the no. of kids who struggle to learn to read & the no. who switch to English to find support. 🙏

FRENCH IMMERSION TEACHERS: Your students can benefit from @UFLI Foundations instructional routines. The program is “effective, easy to implement, and affordable,” writes @HollyLanePhD, one of its creators. The French resources are free & available for use in the Tier 1 setting.
