“he shouldn’t say stuff like that in public” he was at a private event talking to his friend, being recorded without his knowledge or consent. meanwhile your drivers just say shit like this straight to the media (and should btw).
Remember when McLaren looked like it was becoming Mercedes' biggest #F1 threat not so long ago?
That was before its sudden decline over an awful triple-header.
But what's gone wrong and can it be fixed before 2027?

Media: Yeah, listen, just finally, Is it important if you can't win the title to be second? Is that a clear goal?
George: mean, the goal right now is working trying to help the upgrades because we were very much the dominant team for this whole season. And you look at the recent races, Red Bull have been very much the best.
On Baku, Max was similar level to me. You go to Malaysia, totally different track. You go to Singapore, totally different track again. And he's dominated the last two weekends. So right now, as a team, the goal is to try and get on top of these updates.
lando describing just how difficult it has been to drive the MCL40 lately:
"it's just on a knife edge on every single corner, you've just got to drive it within an exact percent and you have to force the car in every single way. you can't let the car do any work. you can't just let the front do the work or the rear do the work. you have to force the front. you've got to force the rear"

“SOY EL MEJOR JUGADOR DE LA HISTORIA, PUNTO.
La gente no está valorando lo que estoy haciendo ahora mismo. Cuando se trata de marcar goles, los números hablan por sí solos.”
Cristiano Ronaldo. 😳🇵🇹
Lando Norris had the 7th fastest pitstop of the Singapore GP with a 2.56s stop.
It’s the first time since Silverstone that he’s had a pitstop time within the top 7.
Now, we’re starting to get a much clearer picture of F1 in 2026:
1.The FIA can influence a car’s energy deployment through software settings, directly affecting its power output and on-track performance. This season, multiple drivers have already experienced deployment issues, sudden power losses, and other problems that have put them in dangerous situations or cost them their races.
2.The FIA has the authority to decide when to deploy the Safety Car, Virtual Safety Car, or red flags. The timing of these decisions can completely change race strategies, driver positions, and even the final results.
3.The FIA’s penalty standards also seem far from consistent. Similar incidents can result in different penalties, raising more and more questions about how the rules are interpreted and enforced.
4.And so, here we are, witnessing the greatest season in F1 history: 2026, and the birth of a new Senna.
