I would love to have a private group of SaaS owners where we could:
Brainstorm marketing ideas.
Brainstorm landing pages.
Brainstorm pricing strategies.
Review eachothers products.
Simple rules: no advertisements of your tools, no conflict of interests between users (can't be on same market).
Anything like this out there?
just woke up this morning and realized artificial intelligence might finally be good enough to close my coding IDE for good and never look at a line of code again...
By now I think Google already has a private SOTA model, and is just using it internally.
Google business model is NOT being an AI Model provider (like OpenAI or Claude)
Among the other things AIs will get better at is recognizing AI-generated text. Presumably writing generated by this year's models will be easy to catch in a few years. Prediction: This will cause huge scandals in academia, as published papers are later exposed as AI-generated.
Spotify about to become a major YouTube competitor.
Called this out early Dec. last year.
Awesome news, YT is finally going to have some pressure to start treating creators better.
If you want to build a startup, you have to accept:
- stress
- rejections
- pressure
- difficult times
- challenges
- uncertainty
These are the parts of the game.
This. I donโt understand this mindset.
Youโre running inferior models, for 10x the cost.
And if you want to โown themโ you can still rent out hardware way cheaper vs buying them.
The only use case where I see this make sense is if you as are a big org with hundreds of users & you are running private data - think colleges or public services.
Where itโs actually cheaper to buy hardware vs paying millions / year in tokens.
