Sometimes I look at certain photographs.
I say, "Oh, I wish that object hadn't been included in that frame. It's too distracting, the stain is out of balance, or I wish it had been edited in more contrasting tones, or the opposite. Or maybe I think the pose in a modeling shoot or the attention paid to the model's clothing could have been better.
Of course, every artist has different preferences, but the purpose of a work is simply to convey a message, and if it was taken "at that moment" on the street and can't be edited, that's fine. But if the photographer can actively compose and intervene before the shoot, why not?
Why shouldn't technique and content become one? You might say, "Life isn't perfect," but then why do we fight for things we can change or strive for a better life?
Isn't that the same with art?
In some special cases, perfection isn't sought in art. The goal is different, and that's normal. But is this true for all art forms?
When we look at some photographs, we find them pleasing both in terms of content and aesthetics, and the reason is clear.
