The millions of Filipinos who celebrated thousands of summary executions owing to the war on drugs should be outraged by Remulla's fast acquittal. And yet, silence.
But I do take offense on the implication of the assertion. That despite my conscious efforts to be kind towards others, my faith (or lack thereof) makes me no different from one who deliberately harms another.
As an almost non-believer, I don't take offense in that statement. I cannot take offense in the idea of suffering in something I don't believe to exist.
