Lee Spencer’s Triathlon of GB, which unfortunately had to end early yesterday.
Damage to his stump caused by nearly two weeks of constant movement stopped him being able to put enough pressure to the prosthetic to move the pedals of his bike and wasn't able to continue.

He has done 933.3 km of cycling with 8639m elevation from Land's End to Cumbria and climbed 18.3 km on mountains with 1997m elevation summiting Snowdon and Scafell Pike, the highest mountains in Wales and England.

He has given his all and truly has ‘not been defined by disability’. Undertaking endeavours which many fully abled people wouldn’t even consider, let alone attempt.

By his side have been retired and serving Royal Marines, Army Commandos and Para Reg as well as civvies, assisting as support riders and walkers as well as the amazing backup crew led by former ML1 Baz Gray.

It’s been a privilege to play a very small part in bringing his awesome feats of endurance and pure grit to a wider audience.
