@matt_tebbutt still the best live presenter on tvπand still a watch tart, but getting better. What was today's SK diving watch? At your age over 50, except for divers watches-max 40mm, keep it below that for anything else. Patek and Rolex owner since 1978.
@MattFitz94 Huge bravo Matt on your RBC Heritage win, despite the despicable US fans behaviour. Time the US PGA did something about that. Now silence them again at the US PGA champs. Could not be more pleased for you and proud for British golf.πππππππππππππππππ
@surreycricket Smith may be a good bat but in this old keeper's view, he's not a proper keeper: gets up too early to receive low balls; doesn't move his feet to take wide balls in front of his body; doesn't move to the stumps each time when a ball is hit past fielders. Viz Knott/Taylor/Russell!
@rugbyontnt Pollock needs disciplining: arrogant, vain, average; he came on near the end, swanned around the edge of the action and, worst of all, lost possession with a stupid pass just before the whistle which allowed France the freedom to win. I'd sack him for the sake of English rugby.
@diskusi_@piersmorgan Don't be so naΓ―ve. Irrespective of the briefings/vettings about M, Starmer showed appalling judgement appointing M with his proven background of dishonesty in ministerial office for which he had to resign not once but TWICE. QED. His party will sack him; and his advisor.
@JANUSZCZAK your article in the ST magazine today which purports to tell the reader "how to look at paintings", is a cringingly patronising piece which could have been addressed to my eleven year old grandchild rather than the average ST reader.
@elizabday In case you missed my X to Basini, your Relative Values was excruciatingly self-indulgent to a seventies something Englishman. Your example won't make you or anybody else stronger. I'm fearful for my grandchildren's future in your generation's weak hands.
@justinbasini As an Anglo-Saxon in his seventies I found your and your wife's Relative Values excruciating. Do try to be strong and not navel-gazing like so many of your, to my robust mind, weak generation - especially in public; it doesn't make you stronger.
@annatyzack Kidd's pub and staff have always been pretentious and treated the locals as naiive yokels. Some years ago went soon after opening and wrote a well-deserved scathing Tripadvisor; obviously hasn't changed. Try the Stag at Ball's Cross.
@SaturdayKitchen Benjamin's awful boastful performance this morning tarnished this excellent show. She broke all records for name dropping and boasting about her achievements. One occasion when I wish it could be edited and not live.
@FloellaBenjamin I thought your boastful performance on Saturday Kitchen 8 Mar was awful. You broke every record for name dropping and regurgitating your achievements. Review it again which I'm sure you will. No dignity whatsoever.
Gyles, I read about your mid-night sleep probs in Oldie. What works every time: recite in your mind "go to sleep" very rhythmically between your heartbeats. Helps if your heart rate is only 50 like mine. Good luck.
Warmest birthday wishes to you Stephen from a 78-y-o British Airborne bird colonel who played Deja Vu in the car to my three children in the 80s and who has followed you from early days with Buffalo. Luckily saw you at Royal Albert Hall way back; Treetop Flyer the best. Kick on!
@RicHolden your really mediocre performance on Politics Live today makes me wonder how on earth someone of your calibre was ever chairman of the Conservative Party and reminds me why I went to Reform.
@Chainthoughts strongly suggest you review your policies on single-mother and single-sex priority over married couples who have been the foundation of this Christian society and its stability for many generations.
@SaturdayKitchen Matt T is the best live presenter on tv, but two suggestions: stop him flashing over-large bling watches which detract from his cooking gravitas; and get guests to say "thank you" as well as "delicious" to the chefs who cook for them. Top show.
@matt_tebbutt on SKL you are the best live presenter on British TV; but a couple of suggestions: flashing your watches detracts from your image (and nothing over 40mm please!); and ask your guests to always say "thank you" as well as "delicious" to the chefs who cook for them.
