On this day in DMB History: Dave Matthews Band at Tuscaloosa Ampitheater in Tuscaloosa, AL in 2015
Tuscaloosa got something extraordinary on June 3, 2015, when Emmylou Harris joined the band for four songs, including two extreme rarities: \"My Antonia\" (its first performance in 11.6 years) and \"The Maker\" returning after a 183-show gap. The opener \"Beach Ball [Little Red Bird]\" was only its second tour appearance, and the setlist achieved uniqueness after just three songs. With five covers on the night and deep album cuts like \"Seek Up\" and \"The Song That Jane Likes,\" this 25-song performance delivered well beyond a standard tour stop.

On this day in DMB History: Dave Matthews Band at Molson Amphitheatre in Toronto, Ontario in 2010
This Toronto stop featured some genuinely rare pulls -- Hello Again, JTR, and Baby Blue (the latter as a Dave and Carter duo) all sat well under 10% overall frequency. When the World Ends made its sole appearance of the entire tour in the encore. A truncated Recently coming out of a Corn Bread transition added some spice, and seven of thirteen Big Whiskey tracks made for a setlist still heavily leaning on the then-current album.

On this day in DMB History: Dave Matthews Band at The Filmore in Cortemaggiore, Emilia Romagna in 1996
A Dave Matthews Band show at The Filmore in Cortemaggiore, Italy -- a venue the band played only once. The setlist leaned heavily into the then-new Crash album, delivering 7 of its 11 tracks alongside a solid mix of classics. The encore featured a solo performance of The Song That Jane Likes before closing out with All Along The Watchtower. No true digital copy of this show exists, making it a ghost in the tape trading world.

Night two in West Palm Beach delivered a setlist full of deep cuts, with Typical Situation making one of its extremely rare appearances as an opener (only the 16th time ever). The genuinely rare selections kept coming -- Raven, Fool In The Rain, Kit Kat Jam, and Broken Things all landed, while The Last Stop closed the main set. Jake Renick Simpson brought fiddle to seven songs and Carlos Malta added saxophone to four, giving this one a special energy throughout.

On this day in DMB History: Dave Matthews Band at Live Oak Bank Pavilion at Riverfront Park in Wilmington, NC in 2023
This Wilmington opener kicked off with \"Stay or Leave\" in its extremely rare appearance as a show starter (only the 5th time ever opening), creating immediate uniqueness after just two songs. The evening featured a strong \"Walk Around the Moon\" album presence with four selections, while deeper catalog choices like \"Seek Up\" and \"Typical Situation\" balanced the newer material. The genuinely rare \"Water Into Wine\" transitioned directly into \"Warehouse\" to close the main set, with \"Grey Street\" anchoring a solid encore.

Night one in West Palm Beach was weather-shortened, but leaned hard into the deep cuts, with I Did It making a rare appearance as opener and a run of genuine rarities stacking up through the first half -- What You Are, Dreamgirl, #27, and Only Takes a Moment all sitting under 10% frequency. Jake Renick Simpson joined on fiddle for five songs from Lie In Our Graves through the closer and into the encore, bringing that fiddle energy fans have missed since 2017. Joy Ride surfaced as the only tour appearance, and Carlos Malta brought both his flute and saxaphone for a smoldering Say Goodbye and Crush pairing.
