@IainDale More information please. I’d venture to suggest this was a one person consultancy to manage work (as a result of) ‘post’ politics. Typically to support IR35. Employed people? Scaled a business? Been on receiving end of policy that harms company growth? Lost sleep? Doubt it.

Controversial post. Politicians (aside the unpleasant ones) have respect of other's opinions and generally get on well with each other. David Davis & Alex Salmond prime example. Some supporters of these parties can't seem to accept that. #annwiddecombe deserves kindness.

As a non-Labour voter, I would have actually liked @darrenpjones to have stood. Seems a principled and capable MP.

@afneil Presumably this is a rush before yet more business burden is added from Q2 (NMW/SSP/ERA). Add that for the last 3 years Q1 is seasonably strong. This isn’t thanks to Labour. It’s in spite of them.

Evening @IainDale in your opinion, what’s the chances of Wes & Andy both announcing ‘together’ they’re standing against Keir tomorrow? Which would be more likely to hit the 81? WS to allow time for AB to become MP? Or self interest will prevail? AB fails - then stands behind WS.
