@eatonphil @sujayakar314 My hunch is that databases use only a fraction of their time parsing and planning queries (plus they should be easy to cache), so no need to sacrifice convenience

@berkeleygfx I’m greatly enjoying Berkeley Mono but I find the vertical placement of ’:’ and ’;’ a bit off - would you consider aligning them with ’.,’ like many monospace fonts do, or offering that as a stylistical alternative?

@berkeleygfx Some fonts, like SF Pro, use contextual alternates for colons between numbers/capitals. Something like this in Berkeley Mono would be beautiful. (At least if kept separate from programming ligatures, which are not my cup of tea.)

@garybernhardt I can confirm "the cliff". I measured the touchpad-to-internal-display delay, 13" MBP 2017: 17 or 18 frames (around 70ms). I barely notice it, but when connected to external display (a TV with as many lag-causing features turned off as possible) it gets much worse.
