Bu gün Bakı şəhərinin erməni-daşnak qüvvələrinin işğalından azad edilməsinin 108-ci ildönümüdür.

108 il öncə Azərbaycan Korpusunun da yer aldığı Qafqaz İslam Ordusu tərəfindən Bakının azad edilməsi Azərbaycanın dövlətçilik mübarizəsində mühüm dönüş nöqtəsi oldu. Bu tarixi Qələbə Azərbaycan xalqının müstəqillik və dövlətçilik iradəsini, xalqımızla müttəfiqlərinin birliyini, şücaətini və fədakarlığını nümayiş etdirdi.

Bu tarixi Qələbənin əldə olunması uğrunda canlarından keçən bütün qəhrəmanların əziz xatirəsini dərin ehtiram və minnətdarlıqla yad edirik.

Delighted to deliver a speech at the World Urban Forum (WUF-13), where I underscored the growing strategic role of cities as hubs where connectivity, diplomacy, trade, infrastructure, climate action, and regional cooperation intersect.

Highlighted Azerbaijan’s large-scale reconstruction and rehabilitation efforts in the liberated territories, where cities and villages are being rebuilt from the ground up based on smart governance, green energy, climate resilience, and human-centered urban planning principles.

Emphasizing that reconstruction is an integral part of Azerbaijan’s peacebuilding agenda, it was noted that nearly $15 billion has been invested into rebuilding former conflict zones to transform them into centers of connectivity, development, and prosperity.

I also highlighted the historic opportunities emerging in the South Caucasus following the normalization process between Azerbaijan and Armenia, including the outcomes of the August 2025 Washington Summit and new regional connectivity initiatives linking Asia and Europe.

Reiterated the importance of advancing the Trans-Caspian Middle Corridor, North-South Corridor, TRIPP initiative, green energy corridors, and the Digital Silk Way project as part of a broader vision for sustainable regional integration and cooperation.
