Now that Delhi Police has arrested the cook, they should also arrest the sweeper, the security guard, the receptionist and the liftman.
Arrest everyone but the corrupt MCD engineers, the inept fire dept officials and the extortionist local police personnel.
Our country is blessed with beautiful locations. Mountains, beaches, desert, jungles, history n so on. But its our own people who just destroy the vibes of the place with their lack of civic sense and entitlement for god knows what reason.
God's favorite people are those who earn in US dollars while living in India with a remote job, 40-hour week, endless chai, home-cooked biryani, and zero traffic.
While coming from my Norway trip ,
At Schiphol Airport I noticed citizens of the US, Canada, EU countries, Japan, South Korea, Singapore and even Malaysia walking straight through automated eGates.
No queues. No officer. No questions.
India was missing from that list.
We stood at least an hour before our turn came to see the officer.
It was a small reminder that GDP headlines and geopolitical chest-thumping are one thing.
Global trust in a country’s documents, institutions and migration profile is another.
A passport is not just a travel document.
It is a report card of how much the world trusts the systems behind it.
I still couldn’t get over that a man bought a girl chicken biryani for 370 rupees and assumes that he owns her. How cheap and disgusting people we have in our society🥺
– She was living away from husband for 4 years
– Husband came to her home, forcefully opened the gate
– He was drunk, took hold of her son and hanged him upside down
– She tried to protect herself & her son and hit him with a stick
– Went to temple, asked forgiveness & informed police
Seems like a case of self-defence to me.
sounds like two people responsible and self-aware enough to know what they’re equipped to handle, and opted to avoid bringing a child into the world who would suffer and they would resent. 🤷🏾♀️
Instead of writing this BS, real questions should one should ask "why women are unsafe after 8:00 PM" and "how can we make society safe for women" but again, this is too much to ask for. Because Men knowingly or unknowingly always stand with bad/evil men..!!!
You cannot change my mind about this. Any place that becomes "holy" in India ends up becoming dirty, loud and uncouth.
Majority Indians inherently lack civic sense. There's no point getting angry and coping when pointed out.
