The Indian government's Press Information Bureau (PIB) Fact Check unit has debunked a viral video purporting to show Chief of the Army Staff General Upendra Dwivedi speaking about informing Israel about the location of an Iranian ship.
Look at this image carefully. You are looking at a Chinese commercial satellite photograph of Prince Sultan Air Base in Saudi Arabia. Every red box is an artificial intelligence model identifying a US military aircraft by type. Every label is in Mandarin. And the base you are looking at is the one Iran fired ballistic missiles at on Saturday night.
A company called MizarVision, founded five years ago in Hangzhou, published this. Not the Pentagon. Not the CIA. Not a classified intelligence briefing delivered to the Situation Room. A Chinese startup with access to sub-meter resolution Earth observation satellites and an AI object detection model that can distinguish a KC-135 Stratotanker from a KC-46 Pegasus from orbit.
Aviation Week confirmed what the image shows. Fifteen KC-135 aerial refueling tankers. Six KC-46 Pegasus tankers. Six E-3 Sentry airborne early warning aircraft, which is significant because only thirty one E-3s remain in the entire US Air Force inventory worldwide, meaning roughly a fifth of America’s operational AWACS fleet is parked on a single ramp in the Saudi desert. Two E-11A Battlefield Airborne Communications Nodes. C-130 Hercules transports. C-5 Galaxy heavy lifters. The backbone of Operation Epic Fury, catalogued from space and published on Weibo.
This is the base that Iran targeted. AFP journalists in Riyadh reported explosions in the eastern part of the capital with thick smoke rising. The Saudi Foreign Ministry condemned Iranian attacks targeting Riyadh and the Eastern Province. Saudi air defenses intercepted the projectiles. But the image you are looking at was published days before the strike. Which means Iran had exactly the same intelligence picture that MizarVision gave the entire world for free.
This is what the democratization of intelligence looks like. In 1991, only the United States could see individual aircraft on a ramp from space. In 2003, a handful of nations had that capability. In 2026, a Chinese startup publishes annotated satellite imagery of American force dispositions on social media, and Aviation Week runs the analysis before the first missile is fired.
Defence Security Asia captured what this means: sub-meter resolution imagery distinguishing individual aircraft types fundamentally alters the secrecy calculus of pre-strike deployments. You cannot mass two hundred aircraft across half a dozen bases and keep it secret when commercial satellites photograph every ramp twice a day and AI models label every airframe before an analyst finishes their coffee.
The age of hidden buildups is over. Every deployment is now observable, catalogued, and published in near real time by companies with no security clearance and no allegiance to anyone. The next war will not be planned in secret. It will be watched from orbit by everyone, in every language, simultaneously.

Very sad news: Major Maroof Raza has passed away.. many TV viewers will remember Maroof and his distinctive style and knowledge on defence issues. . RIP
War is not over. Now it’s all about narrative. We are fighting each other and accusing. Our own people may doubt the success thus helping Pakistan narrative. Pakistan is ahead in fake news and faking victory.
Let’s put up a united front like what we did earlier.

Operation Sindoor vs. Operation Bunyan Ul Marsoos
Some of the firsts
One :
Realizing the stalemated status or irrelevance of the UNSC, India didn’t seek to request sympathy from the five of the 1945. Operation Sindoor clearly demonstrated a strong sense of self-confidence and real strategic autonomy and sovereignty.
Two:
For the first time, India shredded the notion that terrorists are separate from terrorist backers and thus targeted both. The notion that certain powerful rogue officers of Pakistani State authorize terrorist attacks was also shredded. This is a new paradigm. Another type of deniability must be invented.
Third:
There was a battle going and a war being planned. In the midst of the battle, Pakistan negotiated for a loan from the IMF, which surprisingly approved it. It matters because most likely Pakistan isn’t fit enough to finance a war but has capabilities to engage in battles. A war can't be won with IMF loans anyway.
Fourth:
The strategic patience and cultural restraint have a limit. That limit was tested on April 22 by the Lashkar Teyba terrorists. Perhaps they wanted what followed. They didn’t benefit from their adventure though. Perhaps they wanted to humiliate India publicly. They seem to be mentally stuck in 2008.
Fifth:
Size matters. Every inch of Pakistan was under reach. I always thought the Nur Khan airbase was the best defended base of Pakistan. It isn’t. The grarrison town of Rawilpindi as the heart of Pakistan’s military and its best-known airbase was hit.
Sixth:
Pakistan lost the monopoly over Islamic Fatwa. The Indian ulema presented a fatwa of their own to their own government. Thus, the religious dimension always exploited by Pakistan to earn sympathy from the Muslim Ummah evaporated. Deoband is located in India by the way.
Seventh:
Keeping secrets in a democratic society is next to impossible, but very little leaked out of India, which shows enormous skills in adhering to principles of operational silence and public unity to assist in safeguarding of secrets.
Note: I have seen very little or no visuals from Operation Bunyan Ul Marsoos to comment on. Seemingly, it never took off the way it was propagated. The ceasefire saved Pakistan’s skin. Pakistan military leadership has made statements and claims over their own achievements, but the Indian skies remained open, flights weren’t cancelled, and I haven’t seen visuals of missiles landing in Delhi or Amritsar.
Jhapatna, palatna, palat kar jhapatna Lahoo garm rakhne ka hai ek bahana
Well done India. Well done Indian Govt.
And well done Indian Military.
You carried the fight to the enemy.
Proud of our men and women in uniform.
