@aparanjape That line over MH has no significance. Many agencies believe monsoon didn't climb above 15° latitude at all as on-set criteria were not meeting & even if it did, it retreated from there in 1-2 days. So entire MH is now dry. Vidharbh has some TS activity.

@shetty_athreya Dry air intrusion seems to be taking away pre-monsoon rains from areas north of Pune-Raigad-Mumbai belt. As per models, this is also likely to impact monsoon progress!

@tan_5989 Yes, that's true but it's also weird. Sometimes, monsoon withdrawal happens in Oct but that rain is not counted officially in monsoon rain data.
