Not the first time Western countries are grappling with a huge trade deficit with China. In 1500s UK was seeing a huge demand for Chinese silk, tea , spices and figured out the best way to pay for it is to get the entire country addicted to opium and the money they pay for 1/3

What Trump did yesterday was the biggest manipulation in the history of stock market.

At 9:37 am he sent a buy call.
At 1:19 pm he paused the tariff.

Nasdaq zoomed 12%.

In this entire saga of last few weeks, Trump and his allies would have minted money that couldn't be ever imagined!

@devinamehra I would ideally give 3.5 stars. This is an interesting read with many insights for both beginners and seasoned investment professionals. The book spans a long period - I liked the glimpses into Indian history when BSE was run by brokers and I also liked that the book

conviction calls. Even insights on basic facts like PE are good. Some other things that stood out

1) dont be bull or bear - be a hare so you have almost 360° vision and you can change directions if needed
