I’ll say this till I’m blue in the face.
Afro-Americans know where we are from. We are from here. Our culture is here. The history our ancestors survived & cultivated the last 400 YEARS is here. Us not knowing our “ethnic origins” does not mean we don’t know who we are. Period.
@sense_strand Fear is what leads to women thinking they require “the system” to birth in the first place.
The dissolution of fear is what leads a woman to know that birth is natural and she doesn’t need allopathic intervention to do it successfully.
@witchdctralex Can we normalize natural remedies without calling it voo doo or witchcraft.
It’s things our ancestors had to figure out when the didn’t have access to doctors, pharmacies etc.
I love me a Holistic approach 🫶🏾
The main reason disease ‘runs’ in your family is because unhealthy dietary/lifestyle habits ‘run’ in your family. You have the power to break this repetitive cycle of needless suffering and pass healthier genes to your offspring by changing the way you eat, think, and live.
we come into each other’s lives to teach each other lessons and sometimes that results in contract revocation. the more powerful the lesson, the deeper we have to master self compassion.
I love bike riding. It feels so good and can make you forget about everything except the ride. You really feel ur surroundings, relative to being in a car...but can cover way more ground compared to walking.
I love asking questions for clarity because it’s better for me to do that than for anyone to let me run based off what feels like my intuition because the way I will create something in my head and run with it should be studied.
