the state of the trenches is truly depressing. today, @Unpr0fitable rugged a fake token, larping to be helping a kid with cancer. The reality? The kid died more than 7 years ago, and he's taken advantage of a grieving family, while pocketing +15K USDC. In this post I'll lay out what happened: 1) The scammer deployed the token Lukes Leukemia Fund at 22:46:55 Jun 22, 2026 (UTC) time. TX: https://t.co/LpCfD2Ddc8 Less than 30 minutes later, unprofitable made his first post. He also shilled the coin a bit earlier on his telegram group: https://t.co/FZwbSku3Ad, at the marketcap of 9k. At least him & his scammers friends ate some, since the token topped at 150k. 2) The token seemed to be doing well, until some red flags appeared. The supposed "donation" wallet, which in theory belonged to the family: https://t.co/rNAzgk3l7L Received 15k usdc all of a sudden, and transferred out 7.5k in usdc to this wallet: https://t.co/cj0L6BYgRK Which created around 10 other Luke coins. A bit weird that a grieving family would be overdoing it so much, right? Maybe it's a desperate family (it's not). 3) So we look closer into it, and find out that: a) The Tiktok had started posting only recently, around 2-3 months ago. b) The actual kid has likely passed away long ago. c) The token's twitter claimed that "our kid is fighting (now, present) cancer" d) unpr0fitable has publicly claimed to be running the token, referencing that his previous (scam as well, i bet) did 200k, an insane marketcap achievement for the average solboy. f) Him posting about the parents apparently "writing his name" with the kid, is undeniable proof that he's behind the token & the entire operation, not only walking away with funds, but taking advantage of a deceased kid. It's not about the amount of money, but rather, about the principles & reasoning behind it. It'd be nice to see @MetCC do something about this. They jail individuals on twitter over way less than this. I will not be back to exposing, but I will not allow this level of abuse on-chain anymore. I hope this is close to the bottom for the trenches.
