I'm so grateful to @hyphenmag, a dream publication, for taking on this essay that tells a story I have been trying to manifest for years. It's about my mother and income insecurity and what it means to be an immigrant trying to make money in America: https://t.co/VfQ2NcFBbN
"My mom and I share a common language in food. Even at the peak of our most destructive and explosive fights, we would pause to eat together." 🍜

When I was 12, I created a public transit guide for my older sister who attended college outside of NYC! I advised her about not taking the Bee-Line bus from campus because of how terrible the headways are. Love how I included a map of the area surrounding the school! 🚌🤓🗺️
Hi everyone! I paused my job search when my mom had her stroke, but I’m finally starting to look again. As a caregiver for my parents, I’m looking for remote roles. Open to data entry, part time, & temp gigs—any leads would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks so much in advance 🙏🏽
🌼 I’m going full-time freelance!
As some of you may know, my mom had a stroke in Jan. I’m going freelance to focus on her and, in a way, my own creative writing that’s been shelved for so long. So, hire me! From copywriting to strategy to reported pieces, I’m your gal. ✨
We’re so grateful that my mom is finally in a place for rehab programs. PVD folks, any personal reccs for skilled nursing facilities with a dedicated rehab team of PT/OT and speech therapists, especially for stroke patients? Any leads much appreciated!! 🙏🏽
