India doesn’t suffer from shortage of doctors- it suffers from concentration of them in dense pockets.

Improve infrastructure in Teir 2/3 towns - not just of hospitals but cities in general - would solve the so called shortages.

Anyhow - all this would fall on deaf ears.

They don’t care about your cars. They don’t care about your opinion. They don’t care about your feedback, even if you’re one of their own supporters. Forget the opposition, they’ve stopped listening to their own voter base.

This is what unchecked arrogance looks like. And maybe the beginning of something far more dangerous.

- You don’t get pure petrol
- You don’t get clean drinking water
- You don’t get clean air
- You don’t get unadulterated food
- You don’t get roads
- You don’t get municipal reforms
- You don’t get proper government healthcare

These are basic expectations, not luxuries. So what exactly are people getting in return?

Yes, Ram Mandir was one of the biggest achievements of this government. But then that too got looted under the trust appointed by the same government and till now there has been no substantial action and accountability seen.

People have spent years asking this government to work according to the mandate they were given. Instead, it increasingly feels like they’ve convinced themselves they’re too powerful to lose.

This is the most important question, why does this government look so confident that losing power isn’t even on its radar anymore?

But there’s one thing that everyone including the public and the government should remember. History has shown one thing repeatedly that arrogance doesn’t last. Power creates confidence. Absolute power creates arrogance. Governments fall the day they start believing public support is permanent.

Maybe it’s time citizens wake up and remind the government that power belongs to the people and not them. It’s time people stop sleeping and start demanding accountability.

Post RG KAR rape and murder - a national Task force set by SC - which consisted of mostly faculty of AIIMS (4/8) (past and current) rejected a need for Central Protection Act for Doctors. (Which would have made violence against doctors non bailable)

This statement is performative at best because when they actually had the authority and chance to change or bring some law - they did Absolutely nothing.
