@TPeshwa What people don't understand is it takes decades for athletes to train. Not train 2-3 years now and they become olympic level. We need long term athlete development programs

[Anup Yellur RAo @anupraoy]

@LoopSideHQ @michael_ug @sathishpgw hes once in a lifetime, freak ,generational athlete .

[Anup Yellur RAo @anupraoy]

@ThimalF @sahuankit1100 @sathishpgw if one thinks breaststroke , butterfly and backstroke are tiny varients , and distance of 50m and 400 same. then God can only should save sports in India

[Anup Yellur RAo @anupraoy]

@DxDinesh524151 @sathishpgw do you know how much a gun or bow costs . it costs 5-6 lakh . do you know we have within 50kms of any town in india ,where you can swim .

[Anup Yellur RAo @anupraoy]

@ThimalF @sathishpgw what else can a diehard cricket enthusiast says . probably watching cricket is also a sport for them

[Anup Yellur RAo @anupraoy]

@sathishpgw calling swimfake because its inaccessible . do you think archery or getting a gun is accessible ?
it costs 5 lakp per gun or bow .
comparing to swim you get a public pool ( costs 100 rs per session ) withn 50 kms anywhere in india . you also have lakes rivers and pools .

[Anup Yellur RAo @anupraoy]

@sathishpgw you can tell the same thing about shooting also . you are just shooting there , different distance , different targets . why lots of medals there ?

[Anup Yellur RAo @anupraoy]

@sathishpgw running you have differnet distance , jump through hurdels , run and jump high , run and jummp long. id ont seen anyone complaining . now just because you cant swim , calling swim fake is nonsence.

same with wrestling , different style , different weight category , why ?

[Anup Yellur RAo @anupraoy]

@peculiarvivek 50 years means your grand kids goes on foreign trips

[Anup Yellur RAo @anupraoy]

@SakshamRS @Ardagul3r24 I'm not a big fan of cricket, but India being 1.5 billion people, 25% of world population are in cricket playing countries

[Anup Yellur RAo @anupraoy]

@KiranKS Globally we have long term athlete development programme. It started in India very recently. How many of our coaches are bio mechanics experts. Do they even have any basic understanding?

Programme doesn't start at athletes. It starts in coaches , infra then athletes

[Anup Yellur RAo @anupraoy]

@aru1296 @frictionangel She's a musician. When she sings in public stages, many people who are from culture who don't like music are also staying nearby. Should they tolerate or start making tantrums that public music shows should be disallowed

[Anup Yellur RAo @anupraoy]

@frictionangel Exactly, i don't understand this. She sings in public stages. Does she takes permission from everybody and every houses near the stage where she sings
,
Obviously no. If people who don't like music can tolerate, why can't a artist tolerate a little bit of sound.

[Anup Yellur RAo @anupraoy]

@kiranshaw Madam , many countris make their athlete train years (10+)before they participate. We are the country where we don't encourage kids to participate. It takes years to build sport culture. Look at our sports coaches, is anybody trained in biomechanics , do dey even understand it?

[Anup Yellur RAo @anupraoy]

@sabeer if two people agree on everything, one of them is unnecessary.

[Anup Yellur RAo @anupraoy]

@madversity @ECISVEEP I and my bro got a notice too as we are twin too , they explained that the previous step to report parents 2002 sir status is self reporting. They just want id verification that it is not a mistake. And not random person reporting your parent as his parent

[Anup Yellur RAo @anupraoy]

@aol_aditi @theliverdoc and he wants the entire generation wiped off !!.

critical thinker ?
