I am hearing that the top bosses at @IndianExpress have given its reporters a clear instruction: file sensational stories.

Apparently, major evidence is no longer a prerequisite. If a story sits somewhere on the borderline between truth and falsehood but generates eyeballs, it will fly.

IE’s circulation has already fallen drastically over years . The irresponsible “Army coup” story badly damaged its credibility, and post-Covid its circulation reportedly dropped to barely 2 lakh—nowhere close to the scale of papers like TOI (20-25 Lakh per day)

They even brought in a @TheLallantop face for their Hindi experiment. That too failed badly it seems.

Then look at the pattern: IE stories on Rafale, Pegasus & Hindenburg. Sensational headlines and enormous noise—but when these controversies went through institutional or legal scrutiny, they all fell flat.

So perhaps the desperation for eyeballs explains the current race for increasingly sensational stories.

I only hope IE’s Hit job is just a desperate battle for circulation, clicks and relevance—and nothing more sinister.

I sincerely hope IE is not working hand-in-glove with interests or networks outside India—Because in deep state world delegitimizing any country’s elections is a standard trick. And they keep looking for media houses and oppostion politicians who are ready to come on their rolls.

एक बच्चे की खुदकुशी बेहद दुखद और गंभीर मुद्दा है..और इस पर गहन चर्चा और काम होना चाहिए..हमने कई साल पहले ज़िंदगी लाइव में IIT Suicides पर बात की थी..इस मामले में कुछ एकदम बेसिक से सवाल हैं-
1. क्या पूरे बैच में साहिल एकमात्र SC/ST category का बच्चा था कि प्रोफेसर दुल्ला सिर्फ उसी को निशाना बना रहे थे? अगर प्रोफेसर इतने जातिवादी हैं तो दूसरे बच्चों को भी तो परेशान करते होंगे! वैसे तो कहा जा रहा है कि वो खुद भी obc हैं gc नहीं।
2. जब साहिल को परेशान किया जा रहा था और उसने अपने माता पिता को बताया भी था तो उन्होंने उसी समय SC/ST cell में प्रोफेसर की शिकायत क्यों नहीं की? तभी कर देनी चाहिए थी। क्यों सहने छोड़ दिया बच्चे को? पर उनकी बातों से कहीं ये पछतावा दिख नहीं रहा।
3. लोग कह रहे हैं नकल का सबूत दो.. बिलकुल मिलना चाहिए.. लेकिन सबूत तो प्रताड़ना का भी मिलना चाहिए ! फोन पर कोई तो मैसेज होगा जो कभी साहिल ने परेशान होकर अपने माता पिता को भेजा होगा। कोई तो लिखित सबूत होगा । किसी दोस्त को मैसेज भेजा होगा। सिर्फ उनकी कही बात कैसे मान ली जाए? वसूली के लिए किए गए झूठे मामलों की फ़ेहरिस्त पहले ही काफी लंबी है।
4. क्या अब से नकल की खुली आज़ादी दी जानी चाहिए परीक्षाओ में? या बच्चे को पकड़ने से पहले उसकी जाति पूछनी होगी? GC बच्चा है तो suspend करो.. SC/ST है तो अपनी नौकरी बचाओ और उसको नकल करने दो।

जिसके पास वाकई जवाब हों वही लिखे..मुझे गाली देकर सच नहीं छुपा पाओगे 🙏 गाली गलौज और कुतर्क पर वही उतरते हैं जो गलत होते हैं 😊🙏

India is a funny country.

If you abuse the Army, the Police, the PM and his mother, no FIRs will be filed against you.

If you attack the police, beat, stone and lynch them, no FIRs will be filed against you.

The same government and Supreme Court will protect you whom one abused, attacked and lynched.

But .....if you abuse and threaten the abusers and attackers of the police, or army, Delhi Police will file an FIR against you and you will face arrest and jail.

Because India is a SECULAR AND DEMOCRATIC COUNTRY.
