His name is Ashok Khemka.

IIT Kharagpur. PhD from TIFR. IAS 1991 batch.

In 2012 he was Director General of Land Consolidation in Haryana.

He found a land deal where Robert Vadra’s company bought 3.5 acres in Gurugram for Rs 7.5 crore and sold it to DLF for Rs 58 crore within weeks.

700 percent profit. No physical development. Fraudulent mutation approvals.

He cancelled the deal and declared it illegal.

Within 10 days he was transferred.

That was transfer number 1 of 57.

57 transfers in 34 years. One every 6 months.

Every time he exposed corruption in a new department he was moved to a less significant one.

Archives. Archaeology. Printing and Stationery.

His batchmates became Secretaries to the Government of India.

He was sent to manage old records.

He posted on X after his 53rd transfer.

The reward for honesty is humiliation.

He retired in April 2025 as Additional Chief Secretary.

He never became Chief Secretary.

No medal. No recognition.

Just 57 punishments for doing his job.

A final-year law student, Rishi Kumar from Tamil Nadu National Law University, refuses to delete his blog criticising the Supreme Court… despite pressure from his own university.

Why?

Because the administration allegedly received calls from advocates, judges, and others claiming the post harms the institution’s “reputation.”

The blog titled “The Supreme Court of India Has No Spine” questioned the court’s decision to ban an NCERT textbook chapter on judicial corruption.

But here’s the real issue:
A law student is being told to silence himself… for expressing a legal opinion.

His response?

Clear and powerful:
“My opinions are mine… you do not own my voice or my conscience.”

He even said he’s ready to face disciplinary action rather than back down.

This isn’t just about one blog.

This is about academic freedom vs institutional pressure.

If law students… the future of the judiciary are discouraged from questioning the system,
then who exactly is allowed to question it?

Criticism of institutions ≠ disrespect.
Silencing criticism = weakening democracy.

रायता फैला दिया..

आजकल जनरल कैटेगरी के युवा की हालत उस फटेहाल मुसाफिर जैसी हो गई है, जिसे UGC की धूप ने बुरी तरह झुलसा दिया है। जब सिस्टम की मार से तंग आकर यह युवा सोचता है कि चलो, इस बार 'कमल' का साथ छोड़कर 'हाथ' आज़माते हैं, ठीक उसी वक्त विपक्ष अपना 'ऐतिहासिक रायता' फैला देता है।

AI समिट में कांग्रेस का प्रदर्शन देखकर ऐसा लगा मानो वे भाजपा के रूठे हुए वोटरों से चीख-चीख कर कह रहे हों—

"भैया, गलती से भी हमारी तरफ मत आना, हम तो खुद अपनी नैया डुबोने के विशेषज्ञ हैं!"

उनकी हरकतें देखकर वोटर के पैर ठिठक जाते हैं और वह बीच सड़क से 'मूनवॉक' (Moonwalk) करते हुए वापस भाजपा के पाले में खिसक आता है।

जनता का हाल तो उस आशिक जैसा है जिसका ब्रेकअप तो हो गया है, पर नया वाला विकल्प पहले वाले से भी ज्यादा 'अतरंगी' निकल गया।

रही-सही कसर हमारी न्याय व्यवस्था और कानून के 'कछुआ चाल' ने पूरी कर दी है। यहाँ कानून इतना कोमल है कि मुजरिम इसे योग समझकर कहीं भी मोड़ देता है। अदालतों का रवैया तो ऐसा है जैसे कोई 'स्लो-मोशन' फिल्म चल रही हो—मुजरिम जवान होता है, वकील बूढ़ा हो जाता है और इंसाफ अभी 'बफरिंग' ही कर रहा होता है। तारीख पर तारीख का ऐसा लूप चलता है कि पीड़ित को न्याय मिलने से पहले खुद यमराज का बुलावा आ जाता है।

कुल मिलाकर, एक तरफ यूजीसी की बेरुखी है, दूसरी तरफ विपक्ष का उत्पात और बीच में पिसता हुआ लाचार सिस्टम!

ऐसे में मैने अपने मन के विचार कविता में पिरोए हैं। यदि पसंद आए तो कमेंट में अवश्य बताना।

व्यंग्य कविता

यूजीसी ने दिल तोड़ा तो, सोचा था रुख बदलेंगे,
कांग्रेस की बाहों में जाकर, अपना हम दुख कह लेंगे।

पर जैसे ही बढ़े कदम, उनकी 'लीला' सामने आई,
AI समिट की हरकतों ने, फिर से हमे याद दिलाई।

ये वो कलाकार हैं जो, खुद ही रायता फैलाते हैं,
भाजपा के रूठे वोटरों को, फिर से वापस भगाते हैं।

एक तरफ सिस्टम की मार, दूजे 'हाथ' का ये हाल,
जनरल कैटेगरी का युवा, पूछे बस एक ही सवाल।

कानून हमारा सुस्त पड़ा, जैसे ठंडी चाय है,
अदालत की तारीखों में, बस 'कल' की ही राय है।

मुजरिम यहाँ किंग बने, और पीड़ित मांगे भीख,
सिस्टम की इस खामोशी में, दबी हुई है चीख।

वोट दें तो किसको दें, सब 'सेल्फ गोल' के माहिर हैं,
मोदी जी से रुसवाई है, पर विपक्ष भी कहां साहिल है।

चलो वापस फिर कमल पकड़ लें, मजबूरी का ये क्षेत्र है,
क्योंकि रायता फैलाने वालों से, तो भाजपा ही बेहतर है!

The Indian judiciary loves to project itself as the “last pillar of democracy,” but what are people supposed to think when verdicts keep changing after public outrage explodes?

>Aravali decision reversed after protests.

>Sengar gets bail, then suddenly the decision is reversed once the country erupts.

>The order to put stray dogs into shelters, then quietly rolled back after backlash, lmao.

So what does this actually mean? If a judgment is correct, why does it collapse the moment public pressure mounts? And if it’s wrong, why was it passed in the first place?

Either the judges are so disconnected from ground reality that they routinely pass tone-deaf orders, or the laws themselves are so weak and manipulable that justice bends depending on who’s watching.

What’s more disturbing is the message this sends, people now know that outrage matters more, and that a court order can be reversed anytime if the protests are loud enough.

The institution has a credibility crisis. Courts demand unquestioned respect while repeatedly giving people reasons to doubt them.

Justice should be firm, reasoned, and fearless. If verdicts keep changing when streets burn or timelines explode, people will stop believing in courts as arbiters of law and start seeing them as responders to pressure.
