They are still children who are still victims to circumstances like child abuse, child marriage, child soldier not even forgetting the most chronic of all hunger in most parts of Africa.

The day of the African child makes an African child be proud of their heritage.... Back then there used to be a very poor way the world perceive black..... subjecting them to slavery even till now So this day is to make an African child be proud of his or her heritage
