Journalist, communication and international relations specialists. Born in Latvia, living in Spain, these days proud to call myself a Belarusian citizen.
Apparently the UK Ambassador to Afghanistan (Sir Laurie Bristow) held out at the Embassy to get his people out first.
And now he's at the Kabul airport getting Afghan interpretors out one by one.
Extraordinary courage.
Shocked by the death of Raman Bandarenka. My deepest condolences to his family and friends. Raman was only 31 years old. Astonishing cynicism, cruelty of the regime and blunt ignorance of people’s aspirations for changes.
А кто-нибудь в курсе, прокомментировала ли Тихановская своё включение в базу разыскиваемых лиц в России или «я пока такой новости не слышала» - это все? #tsikhanouskaya#Belarus#russia
One more article of @RFERL with my small commentary on whether Russia is interested in any Belarusian industrial assets.

Some of my analytic thoughts and personal experiences in the Belarusian protest for a project https://t.co/FjgJS7eDl1.
PS: For some reason, I was too nervous and forgot all English I knew!

We ask you to spread the word about this blatant lawlessness by the so-called authorities of Belarus, and we demand freedom for Vika Biran and all the other political prisoners!! #Belarus#Belarusprotests#BelarusFreedom
Vika Biran, one of the most active LGBT-activists in #Belarus and co-founder of the queerfeminist project MakeOut, was detained past Saturday for the simple fact of participation in a peaceful demonstration against the self-proclaimed president of the country Lukashenka.
We, her friends and associates, are calling upon international solidarity for our brave friend Vika Biran, who proudly entered the police van with the rainbow flag around her shoulders.
