Old school drivers hammering down sea to sea, hauling freight across the Trans-Canada, and keeping the North alive on the ice roads.

The industry sold out, got soft, detached, and top-heavy. That old pride and dignity got stripped away.

Legit. I am full-time employed. One would consider me as middle class based on my income. I work 60 hrs per week. But if it weren't for the insurance I pay in to every pay period through my company, I wouldn't even be able to afford to see a dentist. Half my pay goes to taxes and a chunk to insurance. 😡

@FoodProfessor What about the idea that the process and requirements are deemed as sacrilegious to all other religions in Canada? Would it not make more sense to have an overall standard rather than accomodations for one religion in a nation of many?
