Lets think from Pakistan's perspective. If they say that talks are not going anywhere what does it mean to Pakistan? They stop being useful to the US.
If they say talks have failed, what happens? They stop being useful to the US.
If they say talks are positive, then Americans will engage them. This is exactly what they did when thay said they were fighting al-qaeda.
@KantInEastt Yes but making sure we do not have food-inflation at home is more important. It's not like we are banning large array of products, it's fine as long as the number of products banned remains low
@bhaumikgowande@SudsG5 You know what will follow, people will stop building those homes. Then what your tax revenue just stagnates and would you increase tax rate? It's not how you run a economy. If u don't have money, u don't spend it without any fiscal discipline
@up_10t_army Exactly. By contrast we can say people want government to do so many things from jet engines to building social infrastructure, but don't want to pay taxes. It's not like u pay tax today and Tommorow you get a bridge or a highway built
@KalingaGajapati How is this bad news? We do not know if they are building factories there or trying to sell their goods. This is all very vague and is naive to comment on it
@libertarian_TN Yes, but I think chinese government will keep them going if it means killing Indian industry. They only have to do it for 3-4 years Max. I agree with you that consumers should be able to get what they want tho...
@mohitlaws Clever trick. But people travel in groups or with families. Consider a family of 4:
By train: โน 2400
By flight: โน20000
By Car: โน6200
It is a mode of travel available. Those who want it can take it. And what about goods that are being transported. What a stupid take
@arvindgunasekar Commercial usage is <1% of total Indian LPG consumption. It also aligns with global price. We cannot just keep on shielding the customers. We have to olay the cards we are dealt with
Bengaluru needs it too. The current traffic is alrrady high, with terminal-1 operating above its capacity. Though there is some soare capacity in terminal-2 and upcoming phase-2 of terminal 2, BIAL expects to hit ceiling by 2033.
Because a lot of countries also invest in treasury bills and long term bonds. There is always enough circulation and always demand for their debt. This way countries can invest extra dollars they have. But its not possible with rupee. Case in point russia. They dont know what they would do with rupees.
How can you compare GDP of a nation with Market cap of a company. And when you say that market cap of all listed companies is still less than nvidia, it is obvious. Their earnings are in dollars and our earnings are in rupees. The value one dollar carries in US is different than the value one rupee carries in India. That is why PPP is important.
@Indianinfoguide I don't understand why this incessant push for bio-fuels. They carry lower energy density, cause problems for engines and whatnot. Why are they so adamant about ethanol
Yes they get paid. But their margins are very thin. Since land is leased under chinese law, margins for developers only exist in selling the building. If Costs have not gone down in line with selling price, their margin takes a hit. Altough you are right the margins are large to begin with.
This is what happens in free market economy. When supply of engineers is more then demand, wages remain lower. India produces a large number of engineers, which is a problem considering most of them are not job-ready. This also forces company to train them and increase the cost to company.
