Isiolo county doctors have been on strike for 72 days!These are 72 days of pain and anguish for innocent residents of Isiolo whose only sin was voting for a failed Nairobi MCA for a governor hoping that he would change their lives!
Our attempts to meet him or his team has come to naught!
The court ordered for a mediation and they were a no show as they run away from auditors who are hot on their heels for embezzlement of funds.
Whatever the drs were asking for were very simple:
1.Delayed salary by 3 months
2. No medical cover despite being deducted SHA
3.Unremitted statutory and 3rd party deductions
4.Severe shortage of staff
5.Harassment at the work place.
6.Delayed and denied promotions.
This is why as @kmpdu we keep saying that devolution has failed because these are basic admin matters that we should not be begging for. @KenyaGovernors and @MOH_Kenya must step in and call Governor Guyo to order!!!
The Residents of Isiolo deserve better!

The incompetence of the @SHA is of epic propotions!In May you made healthcare providers owed legacy debts to take a cut of what they are owed. You even told them that you had received money from treasury to pay them....3 months later bado ni kizungu as they hospital owners beg for their money!
I know of a guy in Kisumu who is on the verge of suicide from this mess!His rent is in arrears,the suppliers are killing him and employees are on a go slow.THIS IS NOT FAIR.

The parallel between Melchizedek and Jesus:

Melchizedek shows up for three verses in Genesis and then vanishes, and he’s one of the clearest previews of Christ in the Bible.

Genesis 14. 

Out of nowhere, a king appears: Melchizedek, “king of Salem” (king of peace), and “priest of God Most High.” 

He brings out bread and wine and blesses Abraham. Genesis 14:18-19.

A king AND a priest in one man. 

That never happened in Israel, kings came from Judah, priests from Levi. You were one or the other. Never both.

He has no recorded birth, no death, no genealogy. 

He just appears and blesses.

A thousand years later, David prophesies of the Messiah: 

“You are a priest forever after the order of Melchizedek.” Psalm 110:4.

Not after the order of Aaron, whose priests all died. After the order of the king-priest who seemingly never did.

Hebrews 7 unpacks it: Jesus is the King of Peace who is also our eternal Priest, one who “holds His priesthood permanently, because He continues forever.” Hebrews 7:24. 

A King of Peace. A Priest forever. Handing out bread and wine. In Genesis 14, God flashed the preview. 

At the Last Supper, Jesus handed His disciples bread and wine and said: this is My body, My blood. Luke 22:19-20.

Melchizedek only ever made sense once I met Jesus.
