@Steven_Hyden I don't even use twitter but logged in to say your list is the only one I've seen that reads as if its by someone who actually loves the tunes and isn't trying to have the "right" albums. Discovering lots. Great call on Jeff Parker!
@JoshuaZed1@Litecoin2000@NateSilver538 Just in case you're being serious...those states were allowed to process mail ballots before election day (thus the early leads for Biden). PA wanted to do this but republican legislature refused. Responsible media has consistently informed PA would take until Friday
@Eric_Sutman @NateSilver538 oh man, as an engineer who gets wildly frustrated with other eng, i've tried to express this sentiment but could never put it this well
@Mi_Astronauta @stereolabstudio @anacaprana@Mikel_Jollett considering what Trump has done and said over the past 4 years, every single one of his voters can only be labeled as extremist. right this moment he's attempting to sow chaos to stop a free&fair election, as he said he would, and those people supported him anyway
@ESPN_BillC love these charts, eye opening stuff. but can i recommend not using red for completions? Super hard to follow at first and my brain can't shake red = bad
@aaronfrost@GRMule@Craftyshoe@Io2d6 @ngconf We're listening, we're just trying to make our point heard. A virtual conference doesn't replace the real thing. That said, I apologize for the adversarial tone, it's not constructive.
@aaronfrost@Craftyshoe@Io2d6@GRMule @ngconf Delta, their no change fee is only for tickets purchased after March 1st. Grand America looks like they'll refund (thank goodness). Other hotels will not (not your fault at all, but ski resorts just don't care)
@Craftyshoe@Io2d6@GRMule@aaronfrost@ngconf No it's not their fault, but they said the "airlines and hotels would be taking care of us" as if it was a mitigating circumstance. That's false for many of us
@kyledcannon@readthemanuel @ngconf huh? you can get insurance for anything. large events take out insurance as a matter of course for circumstances beyond control
@aaronfrost @ngconf And the messaging could have been better, you have to consider the fact that your email made no mention of refunds or the possibility of such. That implied your team saw the virtual conference as enough and intended to sweep concerns under the rug
@aaronfrost @ngconf I don't doubt that, and I surely appreciate the effort. Unfortunately everything sounds harsher than intended on twitter. Frankly, I work for a non-profit, attending at all was a big win, but a virtual conf would never have been approved
@kyledcannon@readthemanuel @ngconf Insurance exists and large events get it for these situations. If they didn't get insurance that's really not our problem. This is a substantial amount of money for many of us
@juristr@nielsenmb@kyledcannon @ngconf But they are also no longer providing a conference, cancelling is understandable, but they can't also keep the money
@SBN_BillC read this fantastic article using your numbers https://t.co/bAcj3xfiDS and commentor pointed out Memphis was 4th ranked offense despite only above-avg rankings in components. Louisville was better across the board on FO but ranked lower, how does that happen?
