🚨 NEW: UN report details rape, gang rape and genital violence against Palestinian detainees by Israeli forces
The UN Secretary-General’s report submitted to the Security Council verifies 31 victims of sexual violence linked to Israeli forces in 2025 — against 14 men, seven women, nine children and one girl — across detention facilities in Gaza and the West Bank, according to Haaretz, which said it had reviewed the report.
Key Details:
🔸“Violations consisted of rape, including with objects, gang rape, attempted rape, physical violence to the genitals, instances of targeted shooting of the genitals, touching of breasts and genitals, strip and cavity searches conducted without apparent security justification, forced nudity and threats of rape,” the report said.
🔸 9 victims, most of them Gaza residents, were subjected to rape and gang rape — in some cases repeatedly. Men and boys were allegedly subjected to rape or attempted rape and violence to the genitals, “resulting in five male victims suffering severe rectal bleeding or swelling for multiple days or weeks and, in some cases, without receiving medical treatment.”
🔸 The report named the IDF, Israeli Prison Service and Border Police Counter Terrorism Unit as responsible. Facilities cited include Sde Teiman, Etzion, and prisons Megiddo, Ofer, Ramla, HaSharon, Shatta, Nafha and Damon.
🔸 The UN said its findings likely reflect only part of a broader pattern, citing Israel’s continued denial of access to detention facilities and explicit threats against detainees to coerce them not to report abuse.

Israeli settlement council admits to systemic ritual sexual abuse of children following bombshell media investigation
——
The Gush Etzion Regional Council in the occupied West Bank has issued an unprecedented public admission acknowledging severe, multi-participant ritualistic sexual abuse within the settler community, which involved the gang-rape of children. The official statement marks a dramatic reversal for the settlement’s leadership, which had spent years systematically denying and dismissing allegations of sadistic abuse.
The official acknowledgment follows a damning investigative report by journalist Roni Singer on Israel's Kan 11 channel, which aired identical testimonies from five independent victims detailing organized, ritualistic assaults. Confronted with recorded evidence and professional corroboration, the council released a statement denouncing the perpetrators and describing the uncovered acts as "pure evil and a moral distortion."
In an effort to manage the immense public fallout, the settler council published crisis hotline numbers and urged further victims to come forward. The media exposure and subsequent admission are expected to force Israeli police to reopen previously shelved complaints and expand criminal investigations into what is emerging as one of the most organized abuse scandals inside the settlement enterprise.
I welcome this decision by UN SG Guterres which is long overdue.
This listing could not have come soon enough.
I had in the past expressed my disappointment that Israel was not listed already, given the systematic, large-scale and horrific sexual violence perpetrated by Israel against palestinian women, men and children that have been independently documented and verified.

@jittersart i've only finished reading SBR last week and i noticed a lot of my favorite Soundman scenes were cut from the 1st ep which is a shame, i'd love to see some of them be incorporated into future episodes where he becomes a bigger part of the plot (esp with his sister and his land)
