To use API, OANDA requires us Japanese residents to be with the GOLD membership. (Monthly, cumulative transaction volume of 500,000 USD equivalent or more, after the first month.)
- Maximum leverage for Forex (FX) is 25. (Government regulation.)
- 1 USD ~= 150-153 JPY as of December 13, 2024.

OANDA call center in Japan explained to me, with a relatively small deposit of 100,000 JPY, for example, a pair of 10,000 USD currency transaction (buy and settle, or sell and settle) times 25 can make it. (with necessary caveats.)
