This is as low as it gets. No consistency, no identity and far too many performances that fall well below the standard expected. Even with the hope that came with Alonso’s appointment, the scale of the rebuild needed is becoming clearer by the week.

What made it worse is that we were fighting to qualify for Europe. Hopefully, we get it right in the transfer market and build a team capable of finishing in the top 4 next season at the very least. Alonso already had a big job on his hands and now it looks even more difficult.
