A new first in flying this morning.
@SouthwestAir had the wrong safety cards in the seat-back pockets. Credit to the flight attendant who realized it early, and worked quickly to have new ones delivered.
Full plane effort to remove/replace the cards so we could get out on time.
Had a student tell me they’re going to grad school at Yale and got very excited as they said “I’m going to New Hampshire!!”
New Haven and New Hampshire are the same thing right?
This is 29 years in the making. @RandPecknold and @QU_MIH, you deserve every moment of celebration.
Thank you for bringing this home and giving all of #BobcatNation a reason to celebrate.
The amount of excitement coming from our corner of the bar as the OT goal went in was unreal.
The fact we were sitting next to Minnesota fans made it even sweeter.
So incredibly proud of @QU_MIH@QuinnipiacU#Bobcat for Life
Incredibly proud of @kip_oneill, @willardvt, and the rest of the team at Windylea for making this possible. A well deserved honor for a team that’s worked hard to prove how competitive they are and can be on and off the track.
My problem isn’t with guns or even with people who have them. My problem is that nothing makes sense anymore.
We are neglecting to give people the resources they need to succeed, to care for the whole human.
Shootings do not happen by accident, and yet we haven’t stopped them.
Yesterday, while looking at school archives, I listened to an RA recount how traumatized the staff was after an active shooter drill in one of the buildings & how the training changed the next year.
As we had that conversation, 21 people were losing their lives 150 miles away.
I don’t have answers, but I know that the laws in Texas that allow anyone to carry a firearm are not it.
Every time I walk into a store or walk down the street, I have no idea who around me has a gun. A gun that HB 1927 says they have a right to carry even without a license.
