BPD presents differently from person to person. People with BPD can very much become victims, since they are more likely to stay in an abusive relationship,

you can fulfill anywhere from 5 to the full 8 symptoms, and that not everyone has the same ones. That means BPD can display in various ways, so you can't compare one experience to another. That does not invalidate bad and traumatic experiences that one might have had with
