Sweden is a perfect benchmark for turning trash into treasure. Only 1% of Sweden’s trash is sent to landfills. By burning trash, 52% is converted into energy, and the remaining 47% is recycled.
Many countries are importing waste from others; surprisingly, Pakistan is also an importer of household waste despite producing enough waste of its own. Punjab alone produced 376,544 tonnes of waste in just four days of Eid ul Azha.

اوورسیز پاکستانی ارسلان آدم نے لکھا ہے کہ میں گذشتہ 26 سال سے بیرون ملک میں مقیم ہوں میری ساری آمدن پاکستان سے باہر ہے بیرون ملک کمائی گئی آمدن پاکستان بھیجتا رہا ہوں ایف بی آر نے میرے بینک اکاؤنٹ سے 2 کروڑ 26 لاکھ روپے نکال لیے ہیں ایف بی آر نے متعلقہ بینک کو فوری رقم ادا کرنے کا حکم جاری کیا میں اپنے ٹیکس گوشوارے باقاعدگی سے جمع کراتا رہا ہوں ایف بی آر نے کچھ عرصہ قبل ذرائع آمدن کے بارے میں پوچھا میں نے بتایا کہ میں بینک آف امریکہ ، کے پی ایم جی ، سعودی عرب اور دوحا بینک میں ملازمت کر چکا ہوں ایف بی آر کو بیرون ملک ملازمت اور آمدنی کے ثبوت پیش کیے گئے ایف بی آر نے ثبوت ماننے سے انکار کردیا ایف بی آر اب تک 70 لاکھ روپے نکال چکا ہے
ادھر ایف بی آر کا کہنا ہے کہ پاکستانی شہری ارسلان آدم کو ٹیکس ڈیفالٹ کا نوٹس جاری کیا گیا ہے ارسلان آدم نے 2 کروڑ 26 لاکھ روپے کا ٹیکس ادا کرنا ہے

Chairperson Senator Rubina Khalid met with a delegation of the Asian Development Bank (ADB) to discuss progress on BISP’s skills development agenda, particularly the implementation of the Skills Development and the Benazir Hunarmand Programme.
The ADB delegation appreciated the progress being made by BISP in advancing skills development initiatives and acknowledged the efforts undertaken under the Benazir Hunarmand Program to equip beneficiaries and their family members with market-relevant skills.
Chairperson Senator Rubina Khalid reiterated that skills development is a priority area for BISP, as it is essential for poverty graduation and sustainable income generation among beneficiary households.The discussion also covered expanding access to training opportunities for BISP beneficiaries, addressing the challenge of out-of-school youth, and improving outreach to young people living in remote and underserved areas.
The ADB delegation reaffirmed its continued support and cooperation for BISP’s skills development agenda and expressed its commitment. Addl. Secretary BISP, the Director General of Complementary Initiatives, and senior officials of the Benazir Hunarmand Programme also attended the meeting.

ویزا اور اخراجات کے باعث اس کی والدہ ورلڈ کپ میں اپنے بیٹے کا تاریخی میچ دیکھنے نہ آ سکیں، جبکہ جن دادا دادی نے اسے اس خواب تک پہنچتے دیکھنے کی خواہش کی تھی، وہ بھی آج دنیا میں موجود نہیں تھے۔
صرف 70 ہزار آبادی والے ایک چھوٹے سے شہر سے تعلق رکھنے والا 40 سالہ ووزینیا، سپین جیسی طاقتور ٹیم کے سامنے دیوار بن کر کھڑا رہا اور اپنی ٹیم کو قیمتی پوائنٹ دلا گیا۔
لیکن اصل کہانی صرف اس میچ کی نہیں...

⭕️Benazir Kafaalat provides income support to poor families,

⭕️Benazir Nashonuma Programme supports around 2.2 million pregnant and lactating mothers and young children through conditional cash transfers

⭕️Benazir Taleemi Wazaif supports the education of approximately 12.4 million children from beneficiary households through stipends linked to school enrolment and attendance.

⭕️Benazir Hunarmand Programme has been launched to equip beneficiaries and their family members with marketable skills and pathways to sustainable livelihoods.
