I’m going to attach one concrete example because I genuinely want an answer to this.

This is a large account openly spreading the AO731 narrative about Valko. I also still have screenshots of multiple other accounts, ranging from a few hundred to tens of thousands of followers, that promoted the same claims quite openly. Some of those posts stayed up for a long time, some were never removed at all, and as far as I can tell, those accounts faced no comparable consequences.

So what exactly is the difference?

You say the removed pro-Valko groups were taken down because they engaged in illegal or dangerous behavior. Fine. Then please show the evidence for that claim and explain what specific behavior justified those removals.

Because “trust me, those groups were bad” is not an explanation.

And “the other thing is a tag, not a group” does not answer the question either. I’m not asking about the technical format of a Douban community. I’m asking why people spreading harmful misinformation on large public accounts appear to be treated completely differently.

I’m perfectly willing to accept that there may be details of Chinese platforms, law or online culture that international fans don’t understand. But then explain those details to us. Show the evidence. Show the rule being applied consistently.

Please don’t reduce this to “foreigners just don’t understand how China works.” We are capable of looking at evidence and understanding an explanation.

Right now, what you’ve provided does not demonstrate that these groups were removed because of proven illegal activity. It gives us an interpretation and asks us to trust it.

You’re asking us to take your interpretation on trust, and I don’t. Without evidence, I have no reason to accept it as fact.
